Dear Bałka and Anna,
I hope you are both well. I can't believe it's a whole year since I arrived in Warsaw! It's sad not to be coming back to study this Semester. I'm following PDP on Facebook and it's all looking very exciting, especially the talk with Francis Alÿs.
I am now entering my fourth and final year of study at Newcastle University. The fourth year students have to raise money to help fund our Final Degree Show and this year we have decided to hold a Postcard Auction to help raise funds. We are asking artists and students alike to donate art to our auction. Previous contributors have included The Henry Moore Foundation, Damian Hirst and Jim Shaw. Jeremy Deller has donated a postcard this year. Art donated has ranged from small A5 sketches, large wall paintings, ceramics, cassette tapes and sculptures.
I would be so grateful if either you or your students would like to donate some art or know of anyone who would be interested in contributing. I have attached the official letter from the Auction Team for more information or if you would like to pass it on.
